Automotive Service Technician (Licensed)

310S Licensed Technician Required — Apprentices Will Not Be Considered

Pay: $44.00/hour to start

$45.00/hour with Chrysler Level 3 training

Job Summary

We’re hiring a licensed Automotive Technician to join our team. You’ll bring proven repair and diagnostic experience, strong mechanical knowledge, and a customer-first mindset. This is a role for a fully qualified tradesperson ready to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues through testing and analysis
• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections)
• Assemble/disassemble components as needed for repairs
• Read schematics and diagrams to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
• Weld and fabricate parts when required
• Explain repairs and recommendations clearly to customers

Requirements:

• 310S Automotive Service Technician license (required — no apprentices)
• Proven experience in a dealership or repair shop setting
• Strong hand-tool proficiency and mechanical knowledge
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
• Capable of physical work, including heavy lifting
• Welding/fabrication experience an asset
• Chrysler Level 3 training an asset (qualifies for top pay rate)

Experience:

• automotive technician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver’s License (required)
• 310S automotive service technician license (required)
